Château Cantenac Brown
Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, it is at the beginning of the 19th century that Château Cantenac Brown takes on its present appearance when John-Lewis Brown bought the estate. He decided to build a castle, in the municipality of Cantenac, in a very Scottish style recalling its origins. It is today one of the most original castles of the Medoc, its face is recognizable among all.
The vineyard is entirely cultivated using sustainable methods. The team thus works the soil in a traditional way in order to promote the physical, chemical and biological properties of the ground. The plateau of Cantenac has a gravelly soil allowing it to produce wines with an intense bouquet brought by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet but to which Merlot brings colour, richness and roundness.
