Located on the upper part of the Pomerol tray, Chateau Petit-Village combines the ancestral vine methods and modernity while being guided by a sense of value and respect of the land in its most apt expression.
Composed of deep ribbons graves with quartz and silex under a clay subsoil, its terroir is characteristic of Pomerol great wines. Merlot (75%) predominates on the domain. It brings to the wine its generosity and roundness. Adding to the Merlot, Cabernet Franc (18%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (7%) needed for structure and complexity.
Powerful and harmonious Petit-Village wines offer the richness and the incomparable finesse of the great Pomerols.
