Domaine William Fèvre
William Fevre created the wine estate in 1959 on a geological treasure: the famous kimméridgien terroir, a subsoil aged of 155 millions years old full of marine sediments, seaweed and shells. His family worked in wine for 250 years and he took over this heritage and maintained it for many years. With 7 hectares first, he managed to extend the domain an raise the wines to the highest quality. The estate is purchased by house Bouchard Père et Fils from Beaune in 1998. With 15 hectares classified in 1er Cru and 15 hectares in Grand Cru, William Fevre is a real Chablis jewel.
