The story of this wine estate is about a friendship dated from 1988 between France and America. A true friendship between a Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Méo (from the Méo Camuzet family) and a music entrepreneur Jay Boberg that met during their studies. Together they shared a love for wine and build a wine estate that magnify the Pinot Noir from Oregon Willamette Valley. They mixed the winemaking experience and knowledges of Jean-Nicolas with the audace of Jay to create the purest expression of the finest grapes from Oregon. They bought in 2014 a wine estate in Bishop Creek and get associated with Tracy Kendal a young and talented winemaker.
“We make the kind of wines we love to drink” says Jay, which means elegant and intense wine able to evolve in the glass and in the cellar. It exhales the life philosophy of the 2 owners with a respectful and organic farming and a desire to express the characters of the grapes and of the magic of Willamette Valley in Oregon.
