The Aquitaine region supports U’Wine innovative project

We are proud and happy to announce that U’Wine have just received the official and financial support of the Aquitaine region for its U’Wine Connect project.

U’Wine connect is a R&D collaborative project that has just been validated by the Aquitaine Region (South western France) throught its Digital support program called AMI 2015.

A collaborative project.

The U’Wine connect platform is, before anything else, a collaborative project between U’Wine and one of its major local partners, the web agency ADGWS. This project was born thanks to the combination of both companies’ talents and innovative spirits. The digital expertise and technology of ADGWS combined with the secured and original U’Wine Grands Crus Business model lead to building an original and smart solution to buy wines at almost professional prices.

A new purchasing experience.

U'Wine (Pre)connectAquitaine Presse Service in its latest press release on U’Wine Connect project stated that: ” (…) Through the U’Wine Connect platform, wine amateurs will experiment a new purchasing experience. The original concept can be seen as a combination of crowd sourcing and “ephemeral sales”. The U’Wine connect platform will give customers the opportunity to group their purchases and by doing so, benefit from almost professional prices. The other advantage of the U’Wine Connect platform is that users and customers will also have access to Bordeaux Grands Crus vintages from the U’Wine En Primeurs Grands Crus offer U’Winevest (Wines bought when still in cask and injected back in the B2B market after a 6 year porterage period). (…)”

A Financial support.

Capture d’écran 2014-11-21 à 09.39.04U’Wine’s offer, U’Winevest was already registered by the French Market Authorities (AMF) and today, the support from the Aquitaine region shows how serious and rigorous our business model is. Thanks to the financial support of the Aquitaine region, U’Wine and ADGWS will be able to speed up the U’Wine Connect development process and this is great news for us, for our customers, for the region and all the Bordeaux wine industry.

Receiving the “seal of approval” of the Digital program of the Aquitaine region is an important step for U’Wine. No doubt this step will be shortly followed by many more of the same importance !
